Conclusion
Process Paper
When we received our instructions for history fair, the two of us decided to choose Hinduism as our first religion because it is a well known religion with a lot of information that would be interesting to learn about. It would be different because we already know a lot about Christianity and some things on Judaism so we wanted to explore new religions. For our second religion we decided to work on Jainism. We chose this religion because we wanted to learn about one of the lesser known and followed religions of the world, and we also had some information on the subject from a previous history fair project. Buddhism was required by our teacher to be one of our three religions.
We conducted our research using websites that gave us direct information on what we were collecting information, and we also used an online library that gave us primary resources and an abundance of information that we added to our own website. The online library gave us links to encyclopedias having to do with our religions and really assisted us in our research.
While creating the website there were certain obstacles such as not being able the website at the same time, as well as not having a fully direct way of sharing information. We both struggled with managing our time and left a sizable amount of work left to finish in the last few days, we were able to finish though. However some of the benefits of creating a website is that it was easier to make the site look organized and smooth.
After we had finished adding information about the religions we added pictures relating to the religions with added captions describing the pictures. The theme of exploration, encounter, and exchange goes well religions because these religions have all spread out throughout the world and affected many different societies cultures and changed them for better or in some cases worse.
